Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on enterprise integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test, and deploy orchestrations using OIC Gen 2/3.
• Deploy and manage OIC Connectivity Agent for hybrid connectivity.
• Plan, execute, and validate data migrations and conversions (FBDI, Stage File actions, OCI Object Storage).
• Build payload mappings using XSLT, XPath, JSON transformations, and PL/SQL staging.
• Ensure data in transit/rest complies with CJIS, NIST, and PII protections.
• Assist in OTBI/BIP data extracts and provide escalation support during deployments.

Job Description: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer – Public Safety

Domain: Public Safety / State & Local Government

Location: 100% Remote (USA)

Employment Type: Contract (6–12 Months, potential extension)

Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card preferred (due to CJIS compliance considerations)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of critical system integrations, data conversions, and migrations within a Public Safety enterprise environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for bridging legacy public safety systems (CAD, RMS, JMS) with modern cloud platforms, ensuring secure, high-integrity data movement and automated transactional workflows that support first responders and public safety agency operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Development: Design, build, configure, test, and deploy robust orchestrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen 2 / Gen 3) covering both application integration and process automation.
• Hybrid Connectivity: Deploy and manage OIC On-Premises Connectivity Agents to establish secure communication between municipal on-premise infrastructure and cloud targets.
• Data Migration & Conversion: Plan, execute, and validate bulk data conversions and legacy data migration pipelines, leveraging FBDI, Stage File actions, OCI Object Storage, and REST/SOAP endpoints.
• Transformation & Mapping: Build complex payload mappings utilizing XSLT, XPath functions, JSON transformations, and custom PL/SQL staging procedures.
• Error Handling & Resilience: Implement enterprise-grade fault handling, automated retry mechanisms, error notification frameworks, and tracking dashboards within OIC.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all data in transit and at rest strictly adheres to public safety compliance standards, including CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services), NIST guidelines, and PII protection protocols.
• Reporting & Operational Support: Assist in building data extract feeds for OTBI/BIP reports and provide technical escalation support during deployment cycles and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Technical Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on enterprise integration experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Proven track record building both scheduled batch orchestrations and real‑time event‑driven integrations.
• Deep proficiency with integration protocols and formats: REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSLT, JSON, and XPath.
• Strong database integration capabilities with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and maintaining the OIC Connectivity Agent for hybrid network connectivity.
• Practical knowledge of bulk data operations (chunking, staging, file handling, and large payload management).

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Direct experience integrating Public Safety applications (e.g., Computer‑Aided Dispatch [CAD], Records Management Systems [RMS], Jail Management Systems [JMS], or 911 dispatch platforms).
• Familiarity with CJIS security compliance requirements.
• Experience with adjacent Oracle Cloud technologies (OCI, Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM, Visual Builder Cloud Service [VBCS], or Process Cloud Service [PCS]).
• Relevant certifications: Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration Specialist.
