Job summary

micro1 is seeking Civil / Structural Engineers to contribute to AI training projects. You will create and refine detailed civil/structural drawings, manage BIM models, and ensure code-compliant designs across multi-building scopes.

Role is remote as a contractor; experience with Revit or ArchiCAD and IFC workflows is essential. Strong English communication and 5+ years of hands-on practice are preferred for impactful contributions to AI model training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-degree drawing set authoring and model development.
• Experience with BIM authoring in Revit, ArchiCAD, or BlenderBIM.
• IFC export and validation experience for coordination.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Demonstrated code literacy with Eurocode/ACI/ASCE/IS/BS.
• Fluent written and spoken English, precise technical communication.
• Nice to have: PE/CE licensure and openBIM scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine detailed civil/structural drawing sets using BIM tools.
• Author and manage BIM models for multi-building projects with code compliance.
• Export and validate IFC files (IFC 2x3 or IFC4) for data interoperability.
• Document and communicate design decisions clearly in writing and speaking.
• Evaluate project requirements, identify constructability issues, suggest improvements.
• Assess BIM tools and data workflows for usability and efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality domain input to train AI-powered solutions.
