Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to support CBP with planning, design, construction oversight, and lifecycle management for border facilities and infrastructure. This is a remote role with travel about 20%.

You will review engineering designs, develop SOWs and cost estimates, and brief senior officials. A PE license or EIT is preferred; PMP is a plus. 4+ years of relevant experience and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant civil or structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or EIT preferred.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering designs, proposed installations, and in-place systems; provide recommendations.
• Assist with planning, design review and construction oversight of IST's projects.
• Develop and prepare SOWs and cost estimates; review from stakeholders.
