Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a Construction Project Manager to support a federal program management office, overseeing infrastructure construction from initiation to closeout. The role is remote within the United States and involves managing scope, budget, schedule, and risk while coordinating with service providers and CBP systems.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of large-scale construction management, PMP/CCM certification, and the ability to pass a government background investigation.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of large-scale construction management experience; OR, 7+ years of construction experience in lieu of a degree.
• Professional certification in a relevant field such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Skills and experience: ability to manage large-scale project, gather requirements, develop budgets and schedules, perform risk analysis, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, risk and budget.
• Coordinate with real estate and environmental teams for permits and access.
• Collaborate with COR for SOW development, cost estimates, and inspections.
• Prepare materials for PMRs and brief senior leadership.
