Job summary

SLSCO LTD seeks a Project Manager to lead CBP border barrier Design-Build programs across the Southwestern US. You will own project delivery, including cost, schedule, risk, and compliance with CBP requirements, coordinating with government stakeholders and Designers of Record during fast-track construction.

You will oversee multi-front design and build activities, manage CLINs, and supervise project controls staff while ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards on complex civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years as a Project Manager on heavy civil or infrastructure projects valued at $10M+.
• Experience managing federally funded construction projects (CBP/USACE/DHS/NAVFAC or similar).
• Proven delivery of at least two heavy civil Design-Build projects with concurrent design and construction.
• Experience managing linear infrastructure such as barriers, roadways, pipelines, utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution, performance, and compliance of CBP border barrier projects.
• Manage project lifecycle from award through design, construction, change, closeout, and warranty.
• Own project cost control, forecasting, earned value, and profitability across CLINs.
• Coordinate with Designer of Record to manage design packages and approvals.
• Lead change management, RFIs/REAs, and contract modifications with CBP.
• Interface with CBP reps, maintain professional and well-documented communications.
• Maintain baseline schedule with recovery planning for schedule risks.
