Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Civil Rights professional to support investigation and resolution of discrimination in service delivery. You will coordinate data collection, maintain documentation, and help ensure compliance with ADA, Section 1557, and CMS requirements across the health system.

This is a fully remote role spanning multiple states, with collaboration across clinical, risk, patient experience, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related clinical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in civil rights, disability rights, investigations, clinical or administrative health care, and policy/program development.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diplomacy across stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ADA, Section 1557, Title VI, and CMS requirements.
• Commitment to health equity, inclusion, and language accessibility across diverse patient populations.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Support and conduct the investigation and resolution of lower-moderate acuity civil rights and language access complaints, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Identify, analyze, mitigate, and prevent risk related to civil rights concerns.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of complaints, investigations, and resolutions.
• Lead tracking, analysis, and reporting of civil rights and language access complaints for enterprise insights.
• Coordinate collection and validation of patient demographic data for regulatory reporting.
• Support development and submission of compliance plans and training materials.
• Contribute to the development and dissemination of staff civil rights training.
• Participate in enterprise committees and initiatives related to civil rights and patient experience.
• Monitor and maintain compliance files for audits and regulatory alignment.
• Support SharePoint site maintenance for civil rights resources.
