Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. This remote contract role asks you to perform real civil engineering and architectural tasks on a Mac to generate high-quality training data for AI models.

You will evaluate workflows, narrate design decisions, and collaborate asynchronously to meet deadlines, using tools like AutoCAD for Mac, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp, or Rhino.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency with Mac-compatible design tools such as AutoCAD for Mac, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp or Rhino.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience or pursuing/completed Master's studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must own a MacBook/Mac with Apple M-series or Intel, macOS 15+.

Responsibilities

• Complete and narrate civil engineering and architectural tasks on your Mac to create high-quality training data for AI models.
• Evaluate design and drafting workflows to benchmark and improve AI models.
• Collaborate independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
• Provide clear explanations of design decisions to enhance training data quality.
• Work with Mac-compatible tools like AutoCAD for Mac, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp, or Rhino.
