Job summary

Ladders is seeking a CIDO Business Strategy Lead to shape enterprise strategy within the Aerospace & Defense space, guiding portfolio direction and execution. Remote from the US, you will translate leadership priorities into decision-ready plans and present them to senior stakeholders.

You'll excel in large matrixed organizations, develop executive-ready materials, and influence strategic choices through clear business value framing and strong communication with architecture leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Strategy/Finance/Information Systems with 12+ years experience, or Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
• Experience in business strategy, enterprise planning, or transformation planning.
• Strong skills in framing business priorities and strategic options for senior leaders.
• Proven ability to develop executive-ready decision materials and strategic roadmaps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and executive-level communication.
• Experience leading strategy development in large matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the business strategy lead within Strategy and Architecture
• Translate enterprise context and leadership intent into coherent strategy framing
• Develop strategic narratives and decision-ready materials that clarify priorities and expected outcomes
• Define portfolio priorities and business-value framing across multiple efforts
• Partner with architecture leads to align strategy with execution realities
• Support executive decision-making by framing strategic implications and organizational impacts
• Represent the strategy function in senior leadership discussions and planning forums

Education
