Job summary

The State of Georgia, Department of Human Services, is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Supervisor in Fulton County to lead a social services unit focused on investigations and comprehensive case management for child welfare. You will guide professional staff, ensure safety actions, and coordinate with legal systems to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of job-related case management experience.
• Master's degree in social work preferred for advanced roles and supervision responsibilities.
• Experience at lower level Child Welfare Svcs Case Mgr 3 or equivalent.
• Pass the standard agency testing protocol for the position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
• Provides investigative and comprehensive case management for child abuse or neglect.
• Coordinates services and develops case plans using community resources.
• Initiates guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption processes.
• Ensures timely safety assessments and interactions with legal systems as needed.
