Job summary

Oklahoma State Department of Health is seeking Part Time Child Development Specialists I-III for the SoonerStart program in Purcell. The role provides services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays in home or childcare settings, with assessments, parent coaching, and family support.

Level I–III pay up to $31.25 hourly depending on education and experience. Must hold a master’s degree in a related field, with CCPS certification within one year of employment where applicable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in child development or related field with 18 graduate hours in relevant areas.
• Experience with infant/toddler development and early intervention principles is preferred.
• Certification as Child and Parenting Specialist (CCPS) within 1 year of employment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Educate parents and professionals about child development.
• Collaborate with families to set goals and develop intervention plans.
• Conduct IFSPs and ongoing assessments.
• Provide services in child’s natural environment and document progress.
