Job summary

The Oklahoma State Department of Health seeks Physical Therapists I–III for the SoonerStart early intervention program in Purcell. You will examine and treat infants and toddlers with developmental delays, providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in natural home or childcare settings.

You will participate in assessments, develop individualized plans, educate families, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to support mobility and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physical therapy and Oklahoma license.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Eligible for licensure by Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides early intervention services in the child’s natural environment (home, childcare, park, etc.).
• Develops treatment plans addressing neuro-motor and activity needs.
• Performs evaluations and assessments for services and develops IFSP in coordination with family.
• Supervises Physical Therapy interns during fieldwork as needed.
