After a brief 10- to 15-minute test, you may be invited to join Prolific as a participant to get paid for tasks that train and evaluate AI models.

Researchers paying for your skills can be up to $60 per hour, with tasks typically requiring one uninterrupted hour, though many are shorter. You can work from home and manage flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Education required: BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in laboratory research or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency in identifying errors in reactions, nomenclature and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-Generated Chemistry: review model responses for factual accuracy and logic.
• Fact-Check Reactions & Formulas: validate reactions, balanced equations, and viability of routes.
• Audit Technical Documentation: review lab protocols, safety summaries, and spectral data for accuracy.
• Annotate Molecular Data: correct SMILES, 2D/3D structures, and property predictions.
• Safety Monitoring: ensure outputs do not instruct on making hazardous substances.
