Prolific is seeking Chemistry Experts and Chemical Engineers to join our Expert Network for AI model training and evaluation. You’ll complete a short test, then participate as a paid contributor working from home.

Tasks may require one hour of uninterrupted focus, with many opportunities at up to $60 per hour. Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry or a related field and have laboratory, industrial, or academic research experience.

Qualifications

• Education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in laboratory research, processing, R&D, or teaching.
• Deep knowledge of organic, inorganic, analytical, or physical chemistry.
• Understanding of chemical safety protocols (SDS, GHS) and regulatory standards.
• Ability to identify errors in nomenclature, stoichiometry, and molecular data.
• Clear, technically accurate written and spoken communication.
• PayPal account to receive payments from clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated chemistry answers for accuracy and logic.
• Validate reactions, balancing, and viable, safe synthetic routes.
• Audit AI-generated lab protocols and safety summaries for correctness.
• Annotate molecular data and fix SMILES or 2D/3D representations.
• Ensure outputs avoid instructions for hazardous or restricted substances.
