Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes, develop PFDs and P&IDs, and support safe, efficient operation.

You’ll work autonomously and with diverse teams, document procedures, and drive project execution from design through commissioning.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 3–5 years of related experience; proficiency in process simulation and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of chemical plant operations and safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform mass and energy balances and equipment sizing.
• Conduct PHAs and implement safety recommendations.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve process performance.
• Collaborate with project teams for commissioning.
• Develop and maintain SOPs.
