Job summary

1-800 Contacts is seeking a Digital Associate to handle customer chats and emails in a remote role from approved states. You will help customers select the best value for contact lenses and provide world-class service in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $15 per hour with bonus potential up to $6 per hour; shifts are afternoon/evening; required 2-3 years of customer service, strong typing, and reliable home internet. Remote work from approved states supported.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum customer service experience.
• Chat sales and contact center experience a plus.
• Great typing skills (≥40 WPM) and technical proficiency.
• Reliable internet connection (20 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up).
• Private, dedicated workspace free from interruption.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Positive, driven, solution-oriented mindset.
• Punctuality and adherence to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Answer 2-3 incoming customer chats concurrently using NICE CXOne, ~40 chats per 8-hour shift.
• Consult customers on best value for contact lens purchases on each call.
• Reply to incoming emails or MMS from customers as needed.
• Engage with manager and team in a virtual work environment.
• Request prescriptions from eye care providers as needed.
• Provide world-class customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain high performance metrics: revenue per chat, quality, availability.

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
