Saint Anthony Hospital is actively recruiting a Charge Capture Specialist I for a remote, part-time role in the Chicago area. You will review medical records, interpret and extract all charges, and ensure coding accuracy with ICD-10 and CPT guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a health information management background, a Coding Specialist program, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience. This position supports the revenue cycle and offers a flexible remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Health Information Management or related field required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant healthcare experience.
• Successful completion of a Coding Specialist program with eligibility to sit for credentials examination.
• Familiar with revenue cycle operations and/or clinical operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to interpret and validate charges.
• Extract charges and ensure coding accuracy with ICD-10 and CPT.
• Resolve documentation and charge capture discrepancies with providers.
• Validate potential missing charges and review for variances/overcharges.
• Communicate effectively with team, compliance, departments and clinical staff.
