Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Health Record Technology or related field and two years of professional coding experience.
• Must obtain CPC, RHIT, or RHIA credentials within 18 months.
• At least two years of pulmonary coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review office-based electronic charges for accuracy.
• Resolve coding discrepancies and educate staff.
