Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Boston, MA is looking for an Account Manager who will drive sales growth with our DEWALT and STANLEY brands through key distributors.

You will establish strong distributor relationships, coordinate marketing plans, provide training and support, and assemble annual growth plans with quarterly progress updates. This field/remote role requires travel up to 50% locally and some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel daily, up to 50% locally and 10% overnight.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets with key distributors in local market.
• Establish and develop relationships with distributor partners across marketing and training.
• Develop annual plans to grow the business with top distributors.
• Coordinate objectives, marketing plans, and user targets with distributors and MSAs.
• Gain expertise in channel pricing structures and programming.
