Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced CFD Engineer to develop and validate fluid dynamics simulations for aerospace and mechanical systems. You will run CFD analyses, generate meshes, set up solvers, and interpret results to inform design decisions.

The role requires strong math, turbulence modeling know-how, and excellent communication to document findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote contractor capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on CFD experience.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, Navier-Stokes equations, and turbulence modeling.
• Experience with ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, COMSOL or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate CFD simulations involving fluid flow, aerodynamics, heat transfer and turbulence.
• Mesh generation, solver setup, boundary conditions and convergence analysis.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CFD simulation results.
• Apply verification and validation best practices.
• Review technical solutions for accuracy and engineering quality.
• Document technical findings and provide engineering feedback.
