Job summary

Mindrift seeks a CFD specialist to train and assess AI agents on expert fluid simulations. You will transform CAD geometry into runs, build reference solutions, and implement Python checks to validate outcomes.

The role is fully remote with flexible hours, requiring strong CFD background (OpenFOAM, ANSYS or STAR-CCM+), solid verification/validation, and Python/GitHub proficiency; English at B2+.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; PhD preferred but not required.
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+ including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practice and experience with mesh-independence studies.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks.
• Set up simulations from CAD geometry and run simulations.
• Build verified reference solutions and write Python checks for results.
