Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a full-time Certified Profee Coding Specialist to work remotely, coding across Primary Care, Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic. You will ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain high accuracy rates while supporting a growing team.

Responsibilities include applying ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes, calculating ProFee levels, and recognizing critical care cases by patient acuity. Ongoing training and adherence to ethical coding standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems.
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Calculate ProFee levels and recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with ethical coding standards.
