Qualifications

• RHIT, RHIA, CEDC, COC, CPC, CCS-P, or CCS credentials required.
• Minimum three years of coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems.
• Experience working in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for various specialty service accounts.
• Abstract key data elements required for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Review medical records for documentation accuracy and communicate with providers for clarification.
