Qualifications

• Active coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC or equivalent) required.
• Strong data entry with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of Cerner/Oracle or comparable EHR systems.
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Attach images to electronic health record elements.
• Verify uploaded images are legible.
• Locate FINs and link documents to veteran records.
• Index documents by section, note title, date of service, and visit location.
• Perform 100% internal QA before submission.
