Bestica seeks a Certified Medical Coder II for fully remote work supporting government clients. The role emphasizes CMS/MAC guidelines, ICD-10, CPT, and payer policies to ensure compliant and accurate coding and billing.

The candidate will participate in daily/weekly huddles during startup and ongoing project meetings, coordinating with practices to improve documentation and coding accuracy across shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years experience as a Certified Medical Coder.
• Education options include degrees or certificates in medical coding or health information.
• Certification: CPC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P or related institutional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Code and bill according to CMS/MAC guidelines and payer policies.
• Collaborate with physician teams and practices to improve documentation.
• Support remote coding operations and participate in project go-live activities.
