Job summary

Ovation Healthcare in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Certified Pro-Fee/Facility Coder with at least three years of hospital or clinic coding experience. You will work across inpatient and outpatient settings, applying ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS guidelines and maintaining high QA accuracy.

Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills are required. This remote/hybrid role requires HIPAA-compliant practices and proficiency testing; compensation reflects experience and location.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in Facility/Pro-Fee coding.
• Proficient in Excel and able to multi-task; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Apply coding standards to medical records for accurate coding across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Abstract and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes with level I and II modifiers as appropriate.
• Research documentation deficiencies and provide feedback to healthcare providers to correct issues.
• Perform quality assessments and ensure 95% QA accuracy and adherence to coding guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant work environment and follow security requirements.
