Job summary

HealthMark Group is seeking a Certification Specialist to work remotely in the United States. You will use MedRelease to pre-complete certifications and ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance while supporting management in processing records efficiently.

This role requires strong math skills for medical billing, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently from home 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday. Notary eligibility in Texas within six months is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work from home during standard hours (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM).
• Ability to work with computer-based records and billing data.
• Notary Public eligibility in Texas within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with HIPAA/PHI handling is essential.
• Experience in Hospital/Medical Billing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work from Home Position, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Utilize MedRelease to pre-complete certifications for records of a varying nature.
• Adhere to HIPAA/PHI policies to protect patient information and ROI practices.
• Use math to assist in breakdown and understanding of medical billing records.
• Overtime may be required as business needs demand.
