Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Certification Operations Manager to drive certification programs from planning through retirement. This remote role collaborates with stakeholders, vendors, and testing providers to ensure efficient program delivery and excellent candidate experience.

You will manage roadmaps, release schedules, and operational processes, while guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with policy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Education, IT, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in certification operations, credentialing programs, or related fields.
• Experience with certification tools and testing providers (Pearson VUE, Credly, Alpine Cert Metrics).
• Experience managing external vendors or service providers.
• Experience managing multiple projects or programs.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage certification programs across lifecycle (planning, development, launch, maintenance, retirement).
• Develop and maintain certification roadmaps, release schedules, plans, and processes.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams and external service providers.
• Monitor milestones, risks, and performance; implement improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders to align programs with product, business, and market needs.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, SOWs, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Oversee certification operations systems and credentialing platforms.
• Support audits, appeals, and policy inquiries.
• Provide escalation support to candidates and internal teams.
