Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales division seeks a Manager, Project Engineering to lead a technical team across the Central Region, with remote work supported and collaboration near Eaton facilities. The role supports Field Sales, Project Managers, and Customers in a multi-state Central Region.

Responsibilities include workload distribution, training, escalation handling, and driving process improvements using Vista/SAP, Power BI, Bid Manager, and PM Hub. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of sales, customer service and/or project management/project engineering experience
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
• Relocation is not available. Candidates must currently reside within Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas,or Ohio to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the technical team of Project Engineers supporting Field Project Managed orders in the Central Region.
• Distribute workload, address training needs, and ensure efficient use of systems and processes.
• Escalation point of contact for technical and commercial issues.
• Promote proactive technical project support with internal partners (Product lines, Field Sales, and Project Managers) and external customers relative to pricing and application support, managing Bill of Material and configuration changes, and providing documentation packages.
• Develop strong working relationships with Field Sales Management, the Project Management Leadership Team, key customers within the supported region, and division management.
