Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales division is seeking a Manager, Project Engineering to lead a technical team supporting Field Project Managed orders in the Central Region. This remote role covers MN, IA, MO, IL, WI, MI, IN, KS, and OH, with preference for proximity to an Eaton facility.

You will oversee workload balance, training, and efficient use of systems. You will guide engineers, coordinate with Field Sales, and manage customer-facing documentation, pricing, and change control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, customer service and/or project management/engineering experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Relocation not available; candidate must reside in MN, IA, MO, IL, WI, MI, IN, KS, or OH.
• Eaton does not sponsor work visa or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT.
• Experience with project order management and cross-functional coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Project Engineers in the Central Region.
• Distribute workload and address training needs.
• Serve as escalation point for technical and commercial issues.
• Communicate with internal partners and customers on pricing and documentation packages.
• Promote Project Management capabilities to customers and sales teams.
• Identify process improvements and document revised procedures.
• Utilize Vista/SAP, Power BI, and other tools to resolve order issues.
• Build strong relationships with Field Sales and management.
