Job summary

Ancora Education seeks an experienced CDL Program Director to lead the CDL program, develop curricula, and train drivers and faculty. You will oversee student advising, retention efforts, and program quality across campuses.

You will hire and mentor Driver Trainers, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards while coordinating with Home Office leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industry certification in instruction preferred.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 3 years of instructional experience in a post-secondary setting.
• 5 years of industry instruction experience.
• Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver/Driver Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CDL program and drive curriculum development.
• Hire, orient, develop and evaluate Driver Trainers within programs.
• Maintain records of interactions with students and staff and monitor attendance.
• Advise students during provisional periods and address career questions.
• Collaborate on master scheduling and course sequencing with Home Office.
• Lead faculty meetings and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Support retention initiatives and provide academic advising as needed.
• Represent program in government and accreditation reporting.
