Job summary

Virginia Transformer Corp is seeking a Field Service CDL Operator. This remote/home-based role involves traveling extensively across North America to deliver and support transformer equipment at customer sites.

You will work with the Field Services team to ensure safe, timely transportation and contribute to project success. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles and transporting heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in extreme temperatures.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%+ and work flexible hours.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-focused.
• Excellent communication and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class A CDL vehicle to transport equipment to job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment records.
• Record deliveries, inspections, and service logs accurately.
• Communicate with scheduling and field techs to ensure smooth operations.
