Jobgether is seeking a seasoned Clinical Documentation Specialist to audit inpatient records, validate coding, and develop clinically supported physician queries. Remote work from within the United States is supported, with emphasis on collaboration with physicians and cross-functional teams to improve documentation quality and reimbursement accuracy.

The role requires strong CDI experience, proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS and MS-DRG/APR-DRG, and hands-on experience with major EHRs

Qualificações

• At least five years of CDI experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and MS-DRG/APR-DRG methodologies.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner or Meditech and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare clear audit rationales, compliant queries and explain findings to stakeholders.
• Remote work readiness within the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Audit inpatient medical records for coding accuracy, clinical validity and compliance.
• Validate ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignments and discharge statuses.
• Identify documentation gaps and develop clinician queries.
• Collaborate with physicians before submitting recommendations to clients.
• Prepare evidence-based audit findings with ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines and guidelines from AHA/Coding Clinic.
• Maintain complete audit documentation and workpapers.
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Meet productivity standards (minimum of three chart reviews per hour).
