Job summary

Logoslabs is seeking an experienced CDI Consultant to strengthen clinical documentation accuracy, coding integrity, and reimbursement across healthcare organizations. This fully remote role requires auditing inpatient records, validating ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, and developing compliant physician queries.

You will collaborate with physicians, maintain documentation standards, and meet productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HIM or RN credential; other health degrees considered.
• CCDS, CDIP or CCS certification with active RN license or RHIA.
• At least five years in CDI within acute care or ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

• Audit inpatient records to validate coding accuracy and compliance.
• Validate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, DRG assignments, and reimbursement.
• Identify documentation gaps and develop compliant physician queries.
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss DRG changes and validation concerns.
• Prepare evidence-based audit findings with guideline-based rationales.
• Maintain audit documentation and support continuous CDI program improvement.
