Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• At least 1 year of related insurance or claims experience.
• Basic understanding of casualty policy language.

• Ability to gather and interpret information for effective claims resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
• Interpersonal skills to deal with diverse customers and situations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate assigned casualty claims by collecting statements, evidence, and legal documents.
• Analyze policy coverage, determine liability and damages.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and company procedures.
• Communicate claim status to insureds and agents.
• Maintain accurate documentation in company systems.
• Participate in training to enhance claim-handling skills.
• Travel as needed for onsite investigations or meetings.
• Maintain punctual attendance at a company-approved work location.
