Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Cash Reconciliation Representative to manage daily and monthly reconciliation of manual and automated cash processes. You will reconcile daily bank links for multiple entities and coordinate with Cash Accounting to resolve discrepancies, compiling reports and ensuring accuracy.

The role emphasizes independence and teamwork within a HIPAA-compliant, secure environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of general office experience required.
• 1-3 years accounting experience.
• Demonstrated reconciliation experience within healthcare or financial environment.
• Knowledge of Epic system preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bank link for multiple entities. Ensure every cash deposit is posted to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile the multiple A/R systems to ensure accurate posting of the full deposit.
• Research and resolve any missing or unidentified cash, checks or credit cards. Track unidentified transactions and report monthly balances.
• Maintain spreadsheet and prepare monthly reconciliation for the Cash Accounting Team.
• Implement and monitor tracking mechanisms for payment accuracy and error correction related to reconciliation.
• Communicate & present issues to appropriate levels of finance or external customers.
• Assist in compilation of financial reports and perform analysis for management inquiries.
• Suggest operational changes to improve efficiency of the department.
