Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of general office experience.
• 1-3 years accounting experience.
• Demonstrated reconciliation experience within healthcare or financial environment.
• Knowledge of Epic system preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bank link for multiple entities.
• Ensure every cash deposit (including checks, credit cards, and lockboxes) is posted to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile the multiple A/R systems to ensure accurate posting of the full deposit.
• Research and resolve any missing or unidentified cash, checks or credit cards.
• Track all unidentified transactions and report total balances monthly, including a reconciliation of what was added to and cleared from the unprocessed cash account.
• Maintain spreadsheet and prepare monthly reconciliation for the Cash Accounting Team.
• Implements and monitors tracking mechanisms for payment accuracy, error correction and various reporting as they relate to the reconciliation process.
• Communicate & present issues to appropriate levels of finance or external customers.
• Ensure quality products are produced on a timely basis.
• Assist in compilation of financial reports.
• Perform analysis of issues to support management inquires and decision making, and other projects as requested.
• Recommends operational changes to improve efficiency of department.
