Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare payment posting experience preferred.
• Experience with EOBs, ERAs, EFTs, and payment reconciliation preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer remittances.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance payments, patient payments, EFTs, checks, and card payments accurately and timely.
• Review EOBs, ERAs, and payer remittance files and post accordingly.
• Identify and resolve denial codes, underpayments, overpayments, and recoupments.
• Reconcile daily deposits and payment batches to remittance totals.
• Assist with refunds, credit balances, and client reporting requests.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and follow client payment posting guidelines.
