The role requires 3–5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle with supervisory experience; you will manage posting rules, investigate discrepancies, and mentor the cash posting team while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or cash posting experience.
• Prior lead, senior, or supervisory experience.
• Experience with automated cash posting, 835/ERA processing, and posting-rule configuration.
• Experience with credit balance management and payer reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate posting of insurance, patient, electronic, and manual payments to patient accounts.
• Perform daily and monthly cash balancing and reconciliation; resolve discrepancies.
• Lead credit balance review and determine proper resolution.
• Maintain cash posting rules and explore automation opportunities.
• Provide guidance and training to the Cash Posting team; monitor quality and productivity.
• Develop KPIs and monitor performance; support system implementations and process improvements.
