The American Red Cross is seeking a full-time Hero Care Center Caseworker for a 100% remote role. The position supports military members and families worldwide, providing emergency assistance and coordinating case management through a centralized system.

Requires a High School Diploma, 3+ years in social services or call center experience, and strong communication skills with 40 wpm typing. Work is performed remotely within 50 miles of the Louisville, KY call center when office presence is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years related experience; social service or service contact center preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and military community.
• Strong written and verbal communication; typing 40 wpm or higher.

Responsabilités

• Interviews callers and coordinates requests for service; records client info in the casemanagement system and assesses eligibility.
• Coordinates case management services with other Red Cross units and performs follow-up actions.
• Composes and delivers emergency communications to domestic and overseas military locations.
