Job summary

Alexion is hiring a Case Manager for the Eastern Time Zone to support patients in a remote, home-office setting. The role focuses on high-touch patient services across onboarding, treatment coordination, and ongoing adherence support for rare diseases.

You will be the primary contact for patients and caregivers, delivering education, coordinating injections, and connecting patients to community resources while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required; counseling or science background a plus.
• 3–5 years of case management or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of insurance coverage and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and ongoing patient interactions to integrate therapies into daily life.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding activities and case management.
• Place welcome calls and coordinate with healthcare providers and SP vendor.
• Share disease, product, and program education materials with patients.
• Coordinate injection training support and home/virtual training.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and report adverse events.
