Job summary

The United States District Court, District of Arizona, is seeking a part-time Dispatcher to support officers’ safety during community contacts. This telework position monitors officer locations through a web-based dispatch system and reports to a supervisor.

The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends. Residents of Arizona or those willing to relocate before starting are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required with two years of general experience.
• Specialized clerical experience involving keyboard skills and basic software troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees officers' field status using a web-based dispatch system.
• Communicates via Wave PTX radio and ten-codes.
• Records times and locations of officer field contacts.
• Monitors on-scene time and performs status checks.
• Coordinates welfare checks or emergency response as needed.
• Updates internal databases (SIRS, PACTS, ATLAS, USSC).
• Performs additional duties as workload requires.
