Job summary

Coconino County Adult Probation Department in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Surveillance Officer to perform professional work of moderate difficulty in case work for probationers, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Under supervision, you will drive, conduct surveillance, collect reports, and coordinate with criminal justice partners to ensure public safety.

A degree or demonstrated experience is preferred, with ongoing training and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in behavioral science or related field, or equivalent.
• One year of surveillance officer experience, or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide surveillance and supervision to high-risk offenders.
• Prepare and maintain reports and supervision information.
• Coordinates with criminal justice agencies.
• Perform urinalysis, breath testing, searches, and arrests as needed.
• Present court testimony.
• Drive and operate vehicle; work with others.
