Job summary

CompNova seeks an experienced Nokia Container Service Engineer to support remote engagements across the USA and Canada. You will architect, deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, NCS, and storage for carrier-grade networks.

You will lead automation, cluster upgrades, security baselines, and performance tuning across cloud platforms, coordinating with technical recruitment leaders to ensure successful C2C engagements in a fast-paced IT services environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and Kubernetes experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Nokia Container Service (NCS) or carrier-grade Kubernetes distributions.
Knowledge of container networking (CNI), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and persistent storage.
Automation experience with Terraform and Ansible; CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
Linux kernel tuning, TCP/IP networking, firewall security, and distributed systems.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Legal work authorization for remote USA/Canada (C2C, W2, IC).

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, scale, and maintain Nokia Container Service (NCS) and Kubernetes clusters.
Manage container runtimes, networking, and persistent storage across cloud platforms.
Automate cluster provisioning, node scaling, and patching with zero downtime.
Troubleshoot container networking, DNS, and storage issues.
Enforce cluster security baselines, RBAC, and vulnerability scanning.
Monitor health and performance with Prometheus and Grafana.
Perform RCA and incident remediation for outages.
Document architecture, manifests, and automation scripts.
