Job summary

Reserv is an insurtech delivering AI-driven claims solutions and seeking highly organized Cargo Claims Adjusters to educate customers, triage claims, and drive optimal outcomes across the claim lifecycle.

You will manage a claim inventory, coordinate repairs and rental reimbursements, and collaborate with clients, attorneys and investigators in a remote-first environment. A passion for service and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; others may apply with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial cargo claims.
• Active adjuster license (resident DHS or state) required.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions and SOPs.
• Commercial claims experience is essential.
• Ability to analyze claims data and make sound decisions.
• Curious, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to policyholders and claimants.
• Gather information to initiate claims and explain policy coverage.
• Manage a claim inventory, establish reserves, adjust as needed.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and rental reimbursements.
• Identify subrogation and salvage opportunities where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and SOPs.
• Negotiate settlements within approved authority.
• Contribute to guidelines, best practices and process improvements.
