Job summary

Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Career Advisor for a part-time remote role (work from home). The position supports military spouses by delivering SECO coaching, guiding them to education and employment opportunities, and connecting them with resources.

You will handle live calls and chats, assess needs, provide tailored resources, schedule coaching, and maintain case records. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience are required; U.S. citizenship is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience providing educational, career, or employment advising or coaching to diverse adult populations.
• Three years of experience in training development and delivery, public speaking, group facilitation.
• Two years of experience supervising or overseeing delivery of social services or education programs.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government systems access.
• Home internet with speeds >3 Mbps up and down.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and a positive, approachable personality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain readiness in a fast-paced contact center environment.
• Handle initial calls from military spouses via a live hand-off.
• Handle incoming live chats from military spouses.
• Assess needs and provide government-approved resources.
• Provide education and career advising, including online/distance education options and information on financial assistance.
