The role delivers individualized career guidance, educates on online training resources, and connects clients to employment opportunities through SpouseWorks programs. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant advising experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a remote, home-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years in educational, career, or employment advising or coaching to adults.
• Three years' experience in training development and delivery, public speaking, and facilitation.
• Two years' experience supervising or overseeing delivery of social services or education programs.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government systems access.

Responsibilities

• Maintain readiness in a fast-paced contact center to support military spouses.
• Handle initial calls from spouses via live hand-off using call center tech.
• Handle incoming live chats from military spouses.
• Assess needs and connect clients with government-approved resources.
• Provide education and career advising including online/distance education options and financial aid information.
• Schedule career coaching appointments.
• Assist with troubleshooting SpouseWorks website access.
• Administer a DoD military spouse scholarship program.
