Job summary

Leap is building a fast-growing specialty care platform and seeks a Care Operations Associate to ensure smooth member activation from enrollment to treatment. You will streamline back-office processes, coordinate with providers, payers, and pharmacy partners, and own workflows to scale operations.

The role reports to the Head of Member Ops & Strategy and is ideal for a highly organized, process-minded operator who thrives on systematizing complex tasks in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in healthcare administrative or operations roles, supporting prior authorization or eligibility verification.
• Familiarity with payer portals and PA workflows.
• Experience with CRM or EHR systems and document management.
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of detailed work without errors.
• Ability to coordinate across provider offices, payers, pharmacy partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Run benefit eligibility checks to confirm coverage, cost-share, and authorization requirements before care begins.
• Manage medical prior authorization requests, renewals, and extensions end to end.
• Process referrals, faxes, and clinical documents, routing to the right team.
• Coordinate staffing and shipping for member treatment with providers and pharmacies.
• Answer inbound calls, triage inquiries, and document actions accurately.
