myLaurel is hiring a Care Navigator, Level 1 to serve as the first connection for patients with the care team. This fully remote (U.S.) role reports to Care Navigator Supervisor and pays $22.00 per hour.

The position emphasizes healthcare navigation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements include 2+ years in healthcare call center or patient-facing work, EHR proficiency, HIPAA-compliant workspace, reliable internet, and strong listening skills with empathy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare call center or patient-facing role.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms (Epic/Athena/Cerner).
• Dedicated private HIPAA-compliant workspace with a door.
• Reliable high-speed internet (≥20 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up).
• Excellent active listening and multitasking across multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead contact for patients and caregivers via high-volume calls.
• Coordinate and schedule in-home and virtual care visits.
• Educate patients on program services and set expectations.
• Manage post-visit needs: equipment, pharmacy requests, and clinical docs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and internal systems.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams for a seamless care experience.
