Job summary

Optum is seeking a Cardiology Implementation Consultant (Non-Invasive) to lead clinical implementations for Echo and Vascular solutions, including workflow analysis, training strategy, and go-live support. This remote role requires travel across North America and collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure adoption and best practice alignment.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed credentials (Echo and/or Vascular RDCS/RCS/RVT/RVS; ARRT/NMT; RT(R) (ARRT).
• 4+ years of recent experience in one or more of the four disciplines (Registered Echo Sonographer, etc.).
• Experience communicating with and presenting to stakeholders, including leadership and executives.
• Understanding of clinical environments, healthcare operations, and department workflows.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating and delivering training presentations.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% of the time across North America (US & Canada).
• Ability to qualify for a company travel credit card.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct current-state workflow analysis and design future-state workflows, including system and department processes.
• Assess application optimization opportunities and provide best-practice recommendations.
• Tailor implementation processes and training plans to meet site-specific needs.
• Coordinate and deliver Super User training and enable end-user readiness.
• Provide training and implementation support to internal staff and customer teams.
• Identify and document product issues, workflow gaps, and enhancements noted during implementation.
• Articulate recommendations clearly to customers.
