Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking a Remote Sonographer – Clinical Imaging Quality & Data Analyst to support data management for clinical research projects. This temporary role reports to the Post Visit Data Management Team Lead and collaborates with Clinical Operations managers.

The role requires RDCS or RCS registration, 2–4 years of sonography, and 1–2 years in clinical trial data management with GCP knowledge. Strong organizational skills and experience with EDC systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current cardiac sonography registration (RDCS or RCS) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences preferred.
• 2–4 years of sonography experience.
• 1–2 years of clinical trial and data management experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems such as Oracle Clinical or Medidata Rave; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data from visits is uploaded to Hawthorne platform within set timelines.
• Review project data and deliver to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Communicate timelines to cardiology and sonography teams.
• Request and manage data corrections as needed.
• Upload data to third-party platforms (e.g., echo images).
• Review and resolve data queries.
• Participate in database lock activities.
• Perform regular data quality checks (ALCOA+).
• Escalate data issues per Hawthorne standards.
• Work with multiple software programs.
• Identify potential adverse events and notify stakeholders per safety timelines.
• Maintain project documents and TMF.
• Train, mentor, and coach other sonographers.
